Where to get a scanning program for laptop??
Where do I get a scanning program and cable for a laptop. Preferably free program. Please help me with tis I can't afford a scan tool!

2 things: Do a simple search for the software and second, shorton the sig up a little. If there is one thing people don't like on this board it's long sigs, trust me, I had one a long time ago and I got heat

Depending on your ecm there are a few freeware programs but they all require that you build the cable interface. Just do a simple search and you'll find what you want.

You can't afford not to have scanning software reguardless of the cost. Long term you'll save tons of fuel and lenghten the engine life.
