I want to make the cable to interface with the winaldl cable. I can't find the transistor that they have listed on the schematics but it says or similar. What would be an usabe replacement? I will probably go to radio shack for the parts. If you know of a couple that might work will you list them here? Thanks. I can't wait to try that software

 

this is burried in one of the other posts, Radio Shack Cat. # 276-1617
it's an assortment of 15 of the transistors, but it's $2.49, so unless you want to order it and wait for ONE transistor... it's what I got.

Use the MSP2222 (or MPS2222 forgot what the first three numbers are) That Radio Shack carries. Also if the plains you’re using call for diode use the 1N914 at Radio Shack.
