I made this cable and my laptop connects and when the data comes out most of the values are 255. I do not think that is correct.

Does anybody know if this cable is suposse to run with a 89 MAF ECM and what software would it be best with?

I should expain that these 255 values are showing:

- temp of collant-255
and all other values are switching from 0 to 255

Can anybody suggest something?

 

Get Craig motes freeware. That interface cable is only really good for your own software or the 160 baud data stream found in many TBI ecms, not TPI.
