HELP

O.K. Got all the nitrous goodies installed but one, and today I hooked up the dual prom holder from NOS. This allows your car to switch to a new prom when the nitrous is activated, and my plan was to run my Aftermarket performance chip all the time, and to switch to the old GM chip with the nitrous (with it's retarded timing). I did just that. The dual prom holder from NOS attached to the memcal pickup after I pulled the superchip out, and then I think I put the superchip in backwards in the NOS holder. When I went to start it, the cooling fan came on... I thought, "That's weird, never heard that before.", but then I went and cranked it... it went a few times but died or I let up on the ignition, can't remember which.

Two hours later: On the phone with NOS... somehow I get the setup correct, and the fan doesnt come on... wow. Start the car, seems to run fine, but the SES light is on. I decide to connect A and B with a jumper cable on the ACDL data port and pull the codes... do it and nothing comes up, but the fan starts again with the ignition turned on. I'm frustrated, go for a drive... car runs great, but it wont idle, keeps stalling. I've also pulled the positive batt cable in the meantime...

Christ, I don't kno what to do. Right now I've pulled the dual prom holder, disconnected the batt and reconnected... put in the superchip back in the ECM, no engine codes, but it is still idling like ****...

Any ideas? I am so frustrated I just kicked the cat!
