lockup

I know that this is not totaly prom related, but I thought that since you guys see what all of the functions in the comp are you might be able to answer it. What all sensors are required on my 85 t/a that origionally had an lg4 to allow the converter to lock up. I am in the process of taking the lg4 out to put in a 350. Will I have to keep all of the computer controlled stuff or could I just keep some sensors so that my lockup would work. Thanks for your help.

Shame you've given up on the CCC. they can be made to run well.

But to answer your question. TCI, and B+M make little controllers for TCC lock up.

Actually I was planning on using the ccc, and possibly may still but all of those clips are brittle and I have had a few break on me. Actually I have a tpi sitting in the garage that I would like to eventually use, but I just need to get my car going in the mean time. So are those kits the only way. I might just keep the ccc for now If I can manage the wiring. Thanks for your help.
