85 tpi proms

i was reading the into to prom burning article and wanted to know if the same things apply to the 85 tpi setup, i currently took out the 85 305tpi, dropped in a 85 350 4 bolt block, put on a tpi system with a ported base, and 22lb injectors, and im now trying to learn how to burn a custom chip for my 305ECM that im running so i can get the performance i need,

Yup, same tuning principles apply, although I think you'll find it worth it to swap to the later 165 (maf) or speed density. You'll have a lot more "tuning ability". eg- look at the maf tables from the 1F to the 6E code to name just one.

check out www.eecis.udel.edu/~davis/z28/ He did the swap from 85 to the 165 ecm (86-89 ecm) and the to speed density and did a great job of writing up the needed wiring changes.

I also have an ecm

I followed mike davis's technical article to a T with not a single hitch.

I'm now running on a 165 and going to swap to a '730
