Proms

First of all, please forgive my ignorance on this matter. I'm not a tuner, but would love to learn. My question is can a prom from a 305, 5 speed work on a 350 with the 700R4 ?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Proms

Generally no, as there won't be TCC lockup logic invoked.

More importantly, it is more dependent upon what EFI system the engine has installed and which model year the PROMs are from. For example, take an '89 LB9 (305 TPI) and install it into the ECM of a '91 LB9 car.

Won't work even if they have the same transmission.

RBob.
