O.K. TO START?

Well im almost ready to start my new engine, and do not have any programming skills as of yet. My question is I have increased the cid to 383, installed a larger cam, a mini ram, larger TB, MSD ignition, better heads and 30lb injectors, can I start my engine just to move the car around without causing any damage? I will set the FP to about 45psi, and just dont want it to run lean. I did start it on a stand with a regular intake and carb to brake it in and retorque the heads and check for leaks etc. Im just currious if the ECM may make the engine lean because of the cid change, and not knowing about injector change. I also have a new APU1 autoprom but im so new to the electronic tuning that im scared that I may hurt something, so will the chip/ecm I have now work just until I can figure something out? Before I got the car someone had installed a Hypertech chip, I know they really dont do much but just thought I would mention it. Thanks for any information you can pitch my way......

The trick is just getting it to sputter to life.
Sitting there just idling, ie under 2< or so, isn't going to instantly hurt anything is something is kinda lean or a lil too much timing. As soon as you get it idling, start monitoring what the ecm is doing, and making the necessary changes.
Figure out the % CID change and change the injector size, buy a couple sets of extra plugs and have at it.

It's bite the bullet time, just gotta reach in and get to it.

Thanks Grumpy, but my problem is monitoring the ECM.......LOL. I hope I can get it figured out, I may just have to take it to someone that know how to do it the first time and then give it a shot myself. I sure do wish Craig would pick a place and set up a hands on class for some of his stuff, I would be willing to travel......well maybe someday.
