I just found a power cord for the cigarette lighter, that pluged right into the programer. Tried it out and it works.

Now I can bring a few chips, my laptop, and the programer. Do all the tuning out on the road, with out having to go home and repeat the whole process.

If it doesnt burn up my programer.. should save some time for us guys using the basic stuff.

Ive got a willem programmer that runs totally on USB power. I paid about $40 for it two years ago. Ive since graduated to an Autoprom. I know its a big investment but you'll wonder how you ever lived without it once you use it.

Yeah i know im excited about this, and you guys with the more advanced stuff are saying he must be crazy.

Its all one big learning curve i guess.

I just spent the last 2 hours on the road playing with ae. And the programer worked flawless. Would have taken much longer the other way. I also learned a good bit about how ae works. Was a good day came home with improved throttle responce and a big smile.

I see your in Lakeland...I work out there every day. Nice place to live.

I've done it by using an AC/DC power invertor off the cigarette lighter to power both my laptop & Pocket Programmer.
