MSD vs. datalog
I have problems with my tunercat rt freezing up a few seconds after datalogging and after lots of research I believe it is due to RF interference. My taylor 8.8 plug wires claim to be RF insulated so I just decided to buy a $38 noise filter for my MSD instead of $$$ to replace a brand new wire set. I haven't yet disconnected the MSD to see if I'm able to datalog, just wanted to throw this thread out for comments/experiences/input.

Do your tuning with the MSD unplugged and then plug it back in when your done.
Its what, a single harness with 4 connectors? lol
In the car near the ecm may well be enough efi to overwhelm it.
Or realistically, take it out and never notice the difference if everything else is right in your ignition.

Took the GTA into the Chevy dealership and they had no connection problems, which eludes to me that the vehicle is good. I installed my MSD noise filter and it helped a bit. I'm able to datalog forever as long as I get past the first five minutes. I'd say, it freezes shortly after connecting, once in every three tries.
