What bin to start with?

OK I've read and read and read all of the stickies, articles, FAQ's but can't find anything that translates what each bin was originaly for? For example I can go to moates' site and find a couple hundred bins but have no idea what thier for besides ECM. I have a 7747 but need a good bin to start with for at least a V8 (350) TBI setup. My setup is custom and there was no bin to start with for the vehicle. I don't want anyone to do my research for me but I just can't find the ryme or reason behind this.

ACSU is a 1987 4x4 Suburban
ASDU is a 1991 Fullsize C1500 Truck
AMUR is a 1988 or so fullsize van
ARHT is an early 90s fullsize van

As far as the calibrations go, the older the calibration the better they typically are for power. The newer you go the more emissions choked they are.

Realistically you could tune from that easily. I actually like the timing table from ATKX (4.3 Fullsize Van) for stockish TBI engines just looking for more grunt.

Can I use the ATKX for a '91 RS 305 TBI? My ECU is an AXKT 8746. Is there another bin I should be using form more "fun"? I'm more of a cruiser than a racer but I like to step on it once in a while. I also have a TransGo kit if that makes a difference.
