HELP! 4 digit PROM code??
Hi Guys... Thanks for taking the time to read this. I have a guy that is burning me a chip to use with a MOATES adapter and he e-mailed and told me he needed the 4 digit PROM code on the original PROM for it to be compatible. The problem is, I don't have the original prom as the car had an ADS chip in it when I bought it. Also, I really don't know ANYTHING about this PROM burning stuff so I am not sure what he is meaning. Nevertheless, he needs some number for my chip to work so I need YOUR help. Any and all help/advice would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks in advance and God bless!!

If the guy burning your eprom doesn't know the code FIRE HIM and find someone else. He doesn't know his butt from a hole in the grouind.
Tell him I locked your post because DIY PROM is for people wanting to learn eprom burning. NOT to make some lazy unknowledgable prom-writer-for-hire's life easy.
There are plenty of places he can obtain that info, but he's too cheap, too lazy or too dumb.
