First make sure no knock without PE spark, without PE Fuel, at just high enough throttle to get to those MAPs. That's how you get the main spark right (or close enough without an engine dyno). Then add PE fuel, and PE spark, and eliminate knock via PE spark. Try to get the lowest RPMs with knock first. Then as knock starts to come at higher RPMs, keep attacking the lowest RPMs that still have knock.
Knock itself heats up the chamber, and causes knock at places that wouldn't knock without a previous knocking condition (which is why running with knock but with knock retard isn't the best way to get most power).
