Hopefully a quick question for all of you...I scanned my car two days ago, and my blm's were in the 148 to 160 range almost across the board. Took it for a drive yesterday, and scanned it, and the BLM's were 108 almost across the board. No changes, just sat overnite. What would cause this!!? I did overhead a bit last week, when I lost a water pump, but water pump, hoses, thermostat and radiator cap were all replaced. Scanned car after the changes, and it still showed 148-160 across the board, now this. Help please. Car is an 85 vette, running $6E on a 165 ecm...no motor mods, other than 1.6's....intake opened a bit, and a 3 inch exhaust, with headers...
Cheers,
Michael

Head gasket could have been damaged, and the antifreeze poisoned your O2 sensor. Hope not though!
Check your coolant sensor for proper readings.

Wow , I can't believe the same thing happened to me last week. I noticed that my cooloant temp read 158 on tunerpro and 195 on the fact guage. Weird right....well I had just filled up on coolant and the system hadn't burped yet. Then I realized the temp in tunerpro was in celsius! That means it was actually reading 316.4. It must have been a steam pocket!
Could this be what you were seeing? If it goes away after the system burps, maybe its the same thing.
Just a thought.....Randy
