Well swapped my 406/t56 combo into 94 firebird after wrecking the 87, it was a repinned 265 harness to 7730.. Figures I would spring for an all new harness.. Just got done installing last week, car will not rev past 3500 and when you hit throttle hard it sounds like it cuts all spark/fuel... Engine sounds lifeless during that time.. Now I have not hooked up knock sensor yet, but have all table zeroed and dignostics disabled... But something tells me that no knock sensor gives a code 43 from when I switched to 7730 without changing to newer sensor.. That was years ago though..
New one will be in tomorrow at advance, but have a feeling thats not it..
Watching scanner, timing is moving - so I am guessing its not in limp home mode - unless scanner always shows what timing should be, have not checked balancer to verify.. But it would seem to be in limp home due to its
horribly rich at idle..
