Tunerpro Row/column Value Question

Does changing the row/column values for tables in tunerpro actually change the value the ECM uses?

Ex: I change the RPM value at row X from 6000rpm to 7000rpm.

Re: Tunerpro Row/column Value Question

Nope.
Kinda like drawing a new line on a roadmap.
The actual roads still only go where they actually are.

The XDF/ECU files just make the binary values represent real world units so you can understand what you are looking at or changing.
The values in the tables and constants are values used by the program code sequences to operate the engine.
If you wanted to change the scale of a table etc that would need to be done in the underlying code.

Re: Tunerpro Row/column Value Question

Darn, I didn't think so. I'm faaar from a computer wiz so that leads to my second question, are there any existing hacks/codes/whatever that can be used to extend or change the rpm range of the egr duty cycle table for the '165 running $6e or $32b? (EGR isn't my intended use for it, I'll get into that later. )

Re: Tunerpro Row/column Value Question

There are hac docs on that code out there. Just need to see how you can change the code to make the function you want.

Re: Tunerpro Row/column Value Question

I'll have to call a friend of mine that's into computer programming for help on that, can't do it myself obviously. I'll start a new thread in the power adder section for what I plan to do with the egr table, this isn't the right thread for it. Thanks for the info.
