AE-hotvscold??

Hey i was just wondering if there is a way to change the Ae values in the 7747 ecm for cold/warm/hot engine temps?? Im getting everything in line finally but when the engine is cold it seems like it needs alot more ae to start to accell without leaning out? Anyone have any ideas?? or can you point me to what table's to modify?? When the engine is warm/hot it is getting pretty good now but its a $%# when its cold for the first few miles. THanks for the help

The manifold will need alot more AE when its cold. IIRC, there is a multiplier for the AE vs. cool temp. youll want to crank that up at lower cool temps untill the hesitation goes away.

don't crank it up too much- when AE hits, it'll feel like you are hitting a brick wall for a second as the engine bogs with too much fuel.
i had it happen to me when I had too much AE in

Re: AE-hotvscold??

Funny when I ran the 7747 it seems my coolant temps 145F to 170F provided the best AE effect. so I left the coolant temp modifier alone(stock). It was when the engine was fully heat soaked that I had AE issues.

8746 allows a air intake temp sensor which will allow another level of AE fine tune in that one could have a warm engine and cooled down intake(especially air gap).
