Air conditioning on BLMs go lean-very lean

89 Camaro 165 ECM with Apyn bin. When I turn the AC on the BLMs go from 130 to 145. I can move the MAF table 1 up in two of the cells and get it to drop but then I'm rich with the AC off.
Is there someplace else in the bin that I can adjust this? If I need to supply more info please ask.

Hmm, could be spark,

Or

Could be injector VBATT offset or small PW injector offset.

I would try to REDUCE the VBATT injector PW offset, and see if both go to similar leanness, then richen the MAF tables again to get to correct.

I'm going to have to get back to you on these two. My xdf file from Moates doesn't seem to have any offsets in it. Does this mean I will have to try and add a line item to the XDF? There is no small PW injector offset though I seem to remember seeing it some time ago in the HAC document I downloaded from Moates.
I do have injector pulse width correction v.s. battery voltage but it's not an offset. I don't think that is what you are mentioning.

Re: Air conditioning on BLMs go lean-very lean

Ok after reading the Arap hac I know understand that the injector pulse width is indeed an offset. It's called so in the hac, however this didn't improve anything. The best I've been able to do is drive with maf table1 the BLMs down to 124 with AC off and 136 with it on.

So I'm tring to create a new XDF line item for inj offset v.s. small pulse width mimicking how it's done in the PW v.s. BV line item.

I have this question.
In the PW v.s. BV editor there is a conversion tab that contain a equation. I can't reverse engineer what this is. Also what is argument 0? Could someone give me a clue?

Re: Air conditioning on BLMs go lean-very lean

Is the constant in the equation a slope so that the graphing works? Probably not the graphing more than likely won't be linear, I'm confused.

Cancel this thread moderator I will address this seperatley
