to new esc or not

I RECENTLY GOT a knock sensor for a 89 full size van, and put it in and it fixed my false spark knocks. [82 are junk]- and i also picked up a newer stye E.S.C MODULE. - but my books i have stink for trying to wire it up correctly. for wire location at new esc modul.------ I have my wires down for color [82 z/28], but not sure where they go on new esc module.------i know i get no knocks now, but if you unhook the esc while running,, it doesnt set code, and the idle i been fighting in park smooths out ?-- does this sound like deffi, module is acting up. ? sounds like it.

Re: to new esc or not

Carl, you don't mention what your setup is? These Knock Sensors are not necessarily directly transferrable from one system to another, even if both are 350s.
