PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!
I just recieved my ALDL cable that I bought from CamarosRus. I downloaded and installed the proper drivers for the cable. It is a USB cable w/ the 10k resistor for my 89 Formula 350 TPI. I have the com port setup properly, however when I open up TunerProRT and WinALDL, i get no data whatsoever. TunerProRT says it cannot detect any hardware. I'm about to smash my head into a brick wall, can someone help me out, or do did I buy a bunko cable?

Since you mention winaldl, I'll assume the "driver" sets up the cable as a com port.
Open hyperterm ( or whatever M$ calls it these days ) and connect directly to that port.
Do you see garbage from the ECM ?
If so, the cable is fine.
If not, that doesn't necessarily indicate that it's bad, just indicates what I don't know about your system.
