Appropriate highway spark degrees?

Hi guys, I am re doing my tune because I converted from a WC T5 to a 700R4(yes manual to auto!).

I like to use the highway spark (that the factory tunes like ARAP turn off and instead include in the main SA table)

What is an acceptable total timing # to shoot for on a small block w/ 0.70 overdrive, 3.73s, 3600 lbs, and iron World Products 64cc heads? The modern fast burn chambers will need less spark than the crappy stock Chevy heads. I think I was running around 42 total, main SA plus highway spark, with 58cc stock Chevy heads. That was probably very conservative. Is that an okay # to start with using my fast burn type heads? I run about 26 total idle, 30-32 total WOT.

On my 383 HSR, I am running 23* at idle and 28* timing right now at WOT (100 kpa) all in by 3600. For hwy driving, I have 5* advanced in the setting and anywhere from 32-35* in the main table. My heads are AFRs. Its a new engine and havent done much WOT tuning yet but hopefully I will get at least two WOT pulls this weekend just to get the tune more in line in that table.

Yeah that sounds about where I was before, minus a few degrees idle and WOT. Thx.
