I am trying to program a 27sf512 with a pp2, $0D. The problem I am having is after I erase the chip, load the buffer, and program, the chip wont verify to the buffer. Bufffer start=00000, Device start=00000, Device end=0FFFF, I dont know if the addresses are set correctly, as this could be my problem?

 

Use the new software it fixes it.

I also had the same problem with the new software. First you need to click erase device then program and it should be A-OK!

Last thought, I first stacked the bin to fill the whole chip using tunerpro I filled all the solts with the same image . A bit redundant but it works just fine Ed

 

I downloaded the software and tried that, still won't verify, actually now it won't even erase the eeprom. I think it might be my pp2, just not sure. I have the serial version of the autoprom but from what I gather it does not support the 27sf512(or at least wont erase it), although the usb version does. Thanks for the advise!

 

Correct, the serial version of the AP does not support 27SF512.
