wide band vs 4 gas question

Does anyone know if a four gas analyzer is really any differant than a wide band O2 ? I dont want to go hog wild buying all these new gadgets If I have things on the shelf here that will work. I would think I could tune WOT just fine with it but then again Im a newbie to this tuning thing. Any Ideas or imput would be great. Thanks in advance

Re: wide band vs 4 gas question

They are different and do provide more information. However, if your only concern is only to tune WOT, a WB is adequate.

Re: wide band vs 4 gas question

Sorry I didnt make it clear I have a 4 gas but no wideband. The wide band would be a redundant purchase I guess. Thanks for the reply and sorry for posting this question in the wrong area . Im new to this site and tuning.
