Ok guys, hopefully this will be easy. I would like to have enough equipment to do data logging from my car (91 L98) to see what is going on, I have done searches and am still not sure what I really need.

I think I need:
ALDL to USB cable to connect to the car and some software for my laptop (XP). What software will allow me to see real-time information?

Eventually I would like to be able to tune and everything, but I don't have the extra cash to buy it all at once (college). Is there anything else I need to just data log? Where is the cheapest place to find the needed cable.

Second: I might try to get some of the tuning stuff for Christmas Any suggestions - I keep reading about all the burners and such, but don't know what is best.
