newbie help- moates prom stuff

I need help!
I bought all the prom stuff from moates (APU1 set-up), but am having a hard time getting it to work. I can't datalog/ emulate/ nothing.

I have a '93 c1500 5.7K auto
on ECU- 16168625
on prom- (sticker- DELCO 4895 3158) (engraved- 014 67633 B9317)
# of legs on prom- 28

What chip should I choose to read/edit? 27c512/27sf512?
What XDF file? E6
What position should the switches on the autoprom be?

It seams like I am able to read the chip and edit it, but it doesn't seem to save changes or make any difference. I also noticed the "addresses" seemed different when trying to burn file to chip. What should that be?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Matt

Re: newbie help- moates prom stuff

this should help with getting the AutoProm setup,
http://www.moates.net/documentation....entation_id=14

to data log, you will need the right ALDL Definition file, i don't see it listed at the TunerPro site.
you may be able to find it by searching here for your ECM number,
http://forum.tunerpro.net/viewforum....53122db531d53b
if a search doesn't turn it up, make a post asking about it, im sure its out there.

E6 looks to be the right Bin Definition file.
i can't help you on the chip, sorry.
