WILL NOT GO TO CLOSED LOOP PLEASE HELP

HELLO i have ecm 730 prom chip512 tunerpro rt having few problems i noticed datalogging
I started car ran went to closed loop for little bit then open agian. then i get ses light.no blinking just on o2 status says lean.
o2 reading are like .400 mv and when i was in closed loop the blms were way off. I know the o2 sensor wire is cut right a long block i need to run a new wire
I need to know why its not in closed loop is my chip wrong
would the o2 wire have somthing to do with this
Also i cannot record data log. everything else seems to be working

If the ECM can't adjust the fuel enough to get a good reading from the O2 sensor then closed loop cannot be maintained. The clue is that the BLM values are off. As I understand this, it means the ECM "thinks" that it isn't able to deliver enough fuel because the O2 sensor is indicating a lean condition continually. That is the symptom, so we need to know what the problem is. It could be the O2 sensor, or it could be a poor tune. If you're using the factory PROM setup, then it's probably just the sensor (provided you haven't switched from a 305 to a 350 or some such). Closed loop can't work without a valid O2 sensor output.

ok i have fixed o2 sensor it was grounding out
i still cant record anything

Did you click on Tools->ALDL/Data Logging->Setup (or you can just press F4) and select a log file to be used? You have to create a log file before you can click on the red dot to record.

i got to record on my record in park i noticed o2 mv were all overthe place not constant like when in open loop could this be because im running way rich blms show 108
