spark advance vs. ambient air temp
I believe the phenomina I'm experiencing is due to too much spark advance in the warm ambient air temps. On my way to work in the mornings its around 60 and peppy as can be and in the afternoon on my way home when its 90+ it looses a lot of its pep yet once the speed levels off the amount of throttle required to hold that speed is nearly identical to what it is in the mornings. I believe its just the higher map area's having too much spark advance for the hotter afternoon ambient air temps? Its not spark knocking, its just lagging until the speed levels off.
