maf tuning and datalog
Its been the better part of 3 years since I messed with this stuff and I have once again got my car up and running.
I do have a WB-O2 and have the blm's locked to 128. I have noticed that I have 2 MAF readings in the datalog, both show grms/sec. shouldn't one or the other show the maf voltage input? if so how do I change it to show the actual voltage?
Do you maf guys tune the maf tables buy adjusting the grms/sec to the AFR of a given rpm? This is what I did to get the idle right but was just wanting to make sure that was the best way.
I didn't get the wb-o2 untill after my engine went down so I had never got to tune with it untill now but I can see its gonna be a lot better than the way I was doing it.
Thanks in advance,
Dewayne

Re: maf tuning and datalog
The two airflow readings are: raw MAF airflow, adjusted MAF airflow (which is what is used for the PW calculation). See the Tuning Guide sticky for MAF Miscellanea. IIRC I outlined how to show the MAF voltage in the data stream.

Thanks RBob,
Its amazing how mush I have forgotten in the last couple years since I havn't been messing with this stuff.
Now I have to figure out whats going on with my aldl cable, it data logs for a couple minutes then its like it looses its feed or somthing, then it will not connect back and acts like I don't even have it hooked up.
Oh well, I guess it will give me somethingto do today.
Thanks again,
Dewayne
