$OD throttle follower ?

I have recently switched computers from 7747 to 7427, everything has gone well so far. Fuel curve is nearly dialed in but my biggest problem is reducing the rpm between gear shifts , rpm hangs to high and gear changes are not smooth. I'm not quite sure if i should attack this problem through the throttle follower or through the delay vs cool tables? Need some help, thanks.

Re: $OD throttle follower ?

After a lot of time studying dimented's od hac and some experimentaion this seems to be working pretty well. Feel free to correct me if i'm wrong. I ve limited the iac position at start up from 150 to 40 , increased the filtered tps filter coef, and decreased the throttle follower gains vs rpm. Throttle response is much better and dosn't hang between shifts like it was.

As far as the park position is concerned, IIRC the IAC will usually move at key on during most conditions. The PCM, however, will not always move teh IAC prior to start up, so you should keep this in mind as in cold weather, it could cause the engine to have a low idle speed right after start up.
