What may cause the data stream to stop? Seems it happens to me only when I am heavy on the throttle. I dont believe it is a bad connection.

Happens 1 out of 20 logs.

 

i dought its the same thing i was running into, but oddly enough i found a old post about tp and older laptops. try making the window small, (not maximized) and pluging your laptop into power. some slow the speed when on battery.


it seemed to work for me. i couldn't log anything in boost. it would just skip it.

 

Some laptops have a "hard drive" saver built in. If the vibration exceeds a certain level the laptop will shut the hard drive down to prevent (or hopefully prevent) a head crash. It is a possibility that this is what is causing the lost logging.
