So i just picked up my car from the transport company and was reminded of something, when i start my camaro up it runs like crap in open loop until it hits closed loop and then idles nice and smooth, and had it tuned pretty well up to about 3500 rpms. I would compare it running in open loop to when i pulled too much timing out of the tune one time, where it just stumbles all over its self, spitting backfiring occasionally, and generally not happy.

Well im about to start trying to tune in open loop since i have no cats, and already bought a WB for the car.

I dont understand why it would run so bad in open loop, but the blms being pretty close to 128 from idle to 3000 rpms in closed loop.

My only thought would be not enough timing but i cant imagine the computer add's extra timing in closed loop does it? Not sure where to start with my open loop tuning
