Proportional Gain vs 02 mV error?
Proportional Gain vs 02 mV error?
I am using EBL.bin for this table.
Why does the table values only run 417 mV to o mV? appears the higher mV are not being looked at.
EBL.bin runs 417mV value of 55 gain and 0 mV being value of 16.
I have fuel pressure of 19 lbs with 80 lbs injectors. Should I reduce this table? If so how much to start?
Also, PRP duration vs 02 Error. Mine are slighly increased vs EBL.bin. Not sure how that happened? Is that increase incorrect?
Also, PRP-Duration offset vs airflow. my values are less. Is that correct?
Thanks.

Re: Proportional Gain vs 02 mV error?
The 417 mV of error covers the usable range of the O2 sensor. It is both a plus & minus 417 mV from the desired O2 window. So the full range is 834 mV.
If you are not having any issues with closed loop prop gains causing surging, then no need to fix what isn't broken.

Hi!!
i have some surging, that i want to bet rid of...
the ECM is a ´727, and im using TC, and their new $8D def file...
engine is a 396 with an XFI467 camshaft...
maybe you have an idea, how the gains could be altered?
thank you

Check out this thread:
https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/diy-...ng-points.html
It explains the the O2 window along with the proportional gains and there use. Near the end the closed loop control table address are listed for $8D.
