question About Tunercat

I have a copy of the tunercatRT software that I purchased in 03. I tried to contact them to see if I could do an upgrade to install it on my laptop, and they dont seem to have record of my licence

Im wondering has the company changed hands since?

some of you might remember when Mark Mansur (sp?)
did a free/fee/donation based program to tune with, and also I believe the autoprom came with a user code from moates.net

do any of you remember that far back in tuning?

Jason

NEVERMIND IM DUMB...

Re: question About Tunercat

I think you have TunerCats confused with TunerPro. It sounds like you own a TunerProRT license. Do a google search for TunerPro and contact the tech support. There is no such thing called TunercarRT.

this is the site I down loaded the program from http://tunerpro.markmansur.com/ also the site that the updates link in the program takes me to

then there is this site http://www.tunercat.com/

I e mailed the second, tried to buy an upgrade, so hopefully I could down load the full version (since I have already purchased the original from the first link)

I emailed the second link describing this problem only for them to tell me they had no record of me.....

Re: question About Tunercat

Tunercats and Tunerpro are two different companies.

You own a Tunerpro license and want to upgrade it to a Tunercats license? Ain't gonna happen. Two different companies.

Yes, Tunercats DOES NOT have a record of you owning a license of their software.............because you never bought software from them.

Contact TunerPRORT and upgrade there software..........you can download it and upgrade for free at the tunerPRO website (not the TunerCATS website).

Re: question About Tunercat

It is more of an opinion thing and what you use the software for. My opinion is that TunerCats is much more stable and is geared toward the professional tuner, and Tunerpro is more of a hobbyist software package. Just my opinion from using both software sets.

It all depends on which one you like using. It is like the Chevy vs. Ford thing.......every one has their own opinion.

Re: question About Tunercat

Jason, you have this squared away, right? I saw your TP-only order at Moates. You were sent your key back in 03. I can resend it if necessary; just let me know.

And no hard feelings about confusing me with TunerCat. John's a respectable guy.

Yep Im good, I figured since I bought my APU1 so long ago thats why my info was lost

I have a copy of tunerpro registered on my desktop, and a non registered on my laptop (the 10erso second wait isnt bad...), and based on what junk said about tunercat, I bought a license for TCRT

mainly I guess I had a brain fart, thinking tunerpro was tunercat..... Im gonna try out both to see which one works for my thick skull.....

Thanks again
