I am working on a 389 ci stroker motor. It has 60cc AFR heads and dish pistons 86 corvette TPI 30 pound injectors. I was looking at proms I downloaded and most show 40+ degrees timing and that looks very high. Just wondering how much timing most people run and what there base is set at. I was looking at 0x6e do people run this much timing?

 

Note where the SA timing is high. It is under light loads where more timing is required. As the LV8 increases the timing falls off. This is where WOT timing is.
