I have a frankenstein and I'm not sure what to do with the park neutral switch wires. It's a painless wiring harness and the instructions say if you don't have a P/N switch and don't plan to use TCC then you should tie the wires together. I have a Manual transmission, but the bin files I have seen have different IAC and idle controls for P/N and drive. Should I connect the wires, or leave them disconnected, or do I have to use a switch? I would rather not add a switch if I don't have to, but I want it operate properly. Does anyone know the status of these wires in a car that came with a manual?

Re: Park Neutral on a Manual
With stick vehicles the park/neutral line to the ECM is left open. This tells the ECM the vehicle is in drive. Typically an orange with black stripe wire.

Thank you very much. I don't know what happened with the other post.
