Latest WUD update for EBL doesnt display gear...
Downloaded and installed the latest version of the WUD for the EBL Flash. When the car is in gear whether at a stop light or in OD cruising on the highway the gear display reads "0". Wondering if there is an area i should look at to see why it is not being displayed correctly.
Thanks

Nothing to do with your setup. The gear indicator is really for stick trans setups. And even then only with the NV ratio option is set. I sorta' goofed when I put this indicator in place. As there is no means for it to detect whether an auto or stick trans is in use.
With an auto trans just ignore the indicator. I do have some ideas of how to make it useful/meaningful when either an auto or stick trans is in use. It will be in the next release.

ok if im following this right you can tell what gear a stick is in.
can you please tell me how ?
I just had my tranny out and there was no sensors on the shifter or tranny to designate the gear except reverse

The computer knows how fast the engine is spinning, and it knows how fast the transmission output shaft is spinning (Vehicle speed sensor). If it knows the transmission gear ratios, it can deduce which gear the transmission is in by the ratio of RPM vs VSS output.
