Hi,

since i installed EBL in my 89 TBI A4 Formula, i was planning to give my ANTT 8746 to a friend of mine who has a 89 TBI A4 RS because his ecm is not working properly, but he has the ANTS prom code.

do you guys think we can just interchange the ecms without any problems or should we just swap his chip into my ecm?

ANTT is Federal emissions. While ANTS is California emissions. Otherwise they are the same.

May find that the FED emssions chip provides for a little better mileage (kilometer-age?).

if the ANTT is the correct prom, what's the difference to a AXKW one?
iirc, the EBL_F_0016.BIN is based on AXKW right?

ANTT/ANTS are for the '89, '90, & '91 MY's and was released in mid-'88 (for the '89 MY)

AXKW is for the '89, '90, '91, & '92 MY's and was released in the end of '90

Note that AXKW is a stick BIN, while the ANTT/ANTS are for autos.

EBL_F_0016 is based on AXKT, which is an auto BIN.
