Too much AE?

Ok guys here's the problem. Attached is the dyno chart for my car. Notice how at low rpms the AFR's dip to 10:1? That's when he floors the pedal to take readings. I'm having waaay too much fuel being dumped at the initial stomp. I'm trying to lean that out but don't know exactly which table to adjust to lean it out. There are about 8 tables referencing AE and tried different things and when I test it, it doesn't change. Can anyone help me out with this? 7730 ecm using SAUJPv4 $8D mask. Thanks!

Re: Too much AE?

Its hard to determine from a distance what you really need to adjust.
Check out the article in the tuning guide How to discern between MAP and TPS AE.
It is listed in the TBI section 80*** area.
It applies to port injection operation as well as TBI.

Also try adjusting the throttle follwer gain higher to get more air as the throttle is mashed. Might help but will not be the full fix.

Thanks for the info. Throttle follower gain is maxed out at 199%. I noticed in the article that you can zero out one table and work off another. Do you recommend that?

Re: Too much AE?

I would start with AE vs TPS just so see how it responds, try decrease it by 30% maybe... AE can be a PITA to get 100% correct (impossible?)

I spent many hours tuning AE on my car and never got it perfect, car ran as hell but AFR was never perfect.......
