Any experience with 2.5L tuning?

Car: 91 Camaro RS
Engine: 5.0L TBI (ebl inside)
Transmission: T-5
Axle/Gears: 3.42 lsd 10 bolt
Any experience with 2.5L tuning?
Has anyone tuned on a 1226864 or 1226156 ecm? I know its obsolete, but it should be able to preform basic efi functions.
