How much learning gets remebered between starts?
How much learning gets remebered between starts?
I just did a little scanning of a friend's car recently and noticed behavior I've seen before, but I finally got a bug up my butt to ask about here....
All the BLMs and INTs seen to revert back to 128 every time you shut down and restart. In short, it doesn't seem to remember what it has learned, at least as far as fuel trim goes.
The "idle stability" programming, for lack of a better description, it seems to remember between starts, however. Once it figures out an optimal routine it kinda sticks to it over and over unless something changes. Hard to tell for sure becuase that sort of stuff is largely inaccessible using a handheld scanner.
Is there a quick reference list of what gets remembered between starts and what gets thrown out?

It may be that they are reading 128 until you re-enter Closed Loop mode.
