I set my "maximum knock retard" to 0. Before I had tunerpro i bought a potentiometer, wired it to the knock sensor wire and then to ground and set it to 3500 ohms. hope this helps.

The only way that I managed to completely eliminate the knock retard system was to cut the brown wire where it goes into the knock module. I put plugs on it so I can plug it back in if I want. This is on an '89 with MAF though, not familiar with SD so yours might be totally different.
