files posted on moates site
You guys realize that you must have a moates account to access files that are in the public domain. You must register as a customer to get the public files..........so they aren't public.
Anyone know of a public domain site where XDF, bins, etc can be posted for all to share?

Even if an "account" has to be used to access them, why make a big deal out of it?

Re: files posted on moates site
Not a big deal. Just used to sites like GM_ECM and DIY EFI that would let everyone look at the info.
Could you guys post the link for the files that people put up there or if it isn't a big deal then could someone post their user and password?
EDIT: Do you guys know how to put a file on the DIY EFI or GM ECM? I have some code I was going to release but wasn't sure how to go about it.

Uhhh, just sign up your own account, I doubt anyone will give you thier information, since it also is linked to thier CC/PP info and addresses, if they have ordered from Moates already.

Re: files posted on moates site
Exactly my point. I don't want to buy anything. Just want a free public file. Why would someone give all that info. for something they aren't buying. It doesn't make sense.
No big deal. I will get it someplace else. Thanks for the help.

Thank you Craig. It worked as you described. I just couldn't find that link on your site. Cheers to you for keeping the stuff open.

Re: files posted on moates site
i prefer it so you need at least an email account to access the file site.
of course an email account is easy enough to get from any of the free email sites. but i feel it helps to keep the wrong people from uploading "bad" files, if you catch my drift
