I am trying to tune my PROM with a new MAF sensor just installed. I got the new Microtech design, which is all electronics, no thin hot-wires inside. It was way rich when I first started testing it. BLMs were low, around 108. So i first started with the FI constant. I been raising is steady, trying to get my BLMs up. I made some gains, but this last chip didnt seem to help any.
Before new MAF, I had FI at 23.71. I am now at FI=27.50, and BLMS are avg 122, with range of 109-128. Idle is at 118. I know I can fix idle BLMs with MAF table 1. But not until i get it all tuned better. Why wont my BLMs go over 128? And yes, I have the BLM max value in chip set to 148. INTs seem to be ok, bouncing around a bit.
I just wonder what is up with this new MAF sensor. I had it good with my OEM Bosch sensor. I was hoping for some improvement with the new design.

Come on, anyone got some input? I did read some posts on here, said that tuning the Microtech MAF does take some serious work. Also read that it reads different airflow cold vs. hot.
Tonight I am going to mess with MAF table 1, and take out highway mode to get better scan data.
