Initial Startup Questions

Hi Guy's, I've learned ALOT here, an am still soaking up knowalge. I have a question I haven't seen addressed, or have maybe missed it considering all I have tried read. I'm about to try to start my TBI swapped motor ( TBI onto an older carb'd motor ). Motor history- 350 w/ Comp XE 254X ( 210/218 @.050, ..447"/.462", 111LC ), headers w/ dual turbo muff's, old style heads, and '95 350 " K " code TBI system adapted on. I have the Moates Autoprom, an Inovative WB o2, and Tunerpro RT along with a laptop for tuning. This is ALL NEW to me, but hopefully I've learned a few things here. So far, I've done a key on to verify fuel psi ( 13.5 lbs on the guage ), and the only code it thru was a 12. This was on a #16197427 BJYL with a Hypertech chip ( came that way ). Went to the boneyard awhile back, and picked up a couple of TBI's from 350/s, some sensors, and another #16197427 with BHMD for $30.00 . Do I try to start as is? Should I change anything in computer B4 trying? Is the BHMD a better starting place, since it's " stock GM "? This is in a 4WD, granny low tranny/3.7's w/35" tires, 3600lbs. Avg cruise RPM's is 2500@65 mph aprox with this combo or lowwer, 4000 max. Just looking for a place to start. Next motor will have smaller cam ( Lunati Vodoo single pattern 207/207@.050 .437/.437 w/ 1.5 rockers on 193 SP heads. In this game it's all about LOW RPM torque. Thank you for any input/advise. Al
