Proper BIN
I was wondering If anyone could suggest a good Bin to start with. Im new to tuning and trying to figure out a good starting point. I have a 91 RS converted to a 355 TPI 5 speed. It has 350 TBI 193 heads that are slightly ported. I have a Comp Cams 12-423-8 xtreme energy hydraulic roller camshaft with 224/230 duration at .50 lift. .502/.510 lift. Im using the 730 ecm for speed density. Any help would be great.
Re: Proper BIN
I'm not an expert by any means, but there is no 'base' that won't reauire a lot of tuning for your setup. Id probably start with s_aujp, set your injectors, take it for a drive (logging), and start tuning. The trick is to try and get as many blms @128 as possible by adjusting just your injector flow rate first before you start changing all your ve tables.

Re: Proper BIN
Do what badazcj1 suggested along with changing the main SA tables. Copy/convert them from a set of L05 values. The swirl port heads require much less timing then the non-swirl L98 heads. Don't forget to sub off the main bias value to get the real L05 timing values.
