Which prom for my Mutt setup?
Wanted some input. I have a 5.7(LO5) from a 94 suburban, on top is a tuned port setup. Im running 305 gear, (19lb injectors and 305 prom)> I have to say, this setup is great, and the car seems to be running great. Im running a t-5 as well. My current prom is for a 305 auto. Ive upgraded exhaust,(
headers back), ported my plenum, added a better than stock air intake and filter setup, other bolt ons, etc. Just wondering what would be a better prom to use, a 350 or a 305, or probably the best route, a custom one....

Is there much difference between the auto and manual proms, as faras timing, and fuel curves?

I'd say get into prom burning and you'll be better off than both of the above.
and yesy I believe there are several differences between manual and auto bins. Timing, idle, throttle follower, DFCO and probably several others.

What ECM are you currently running?
When I did my 350 swap I took the 305 5-speed bin and just copied the fuel and spark tables over from a 350 bin. That did well enough for a basic tune.
This was with a '165 ECM with the 6E mask.
