2 Newbie questions

Ok, so I'm just trying to break into PROM burning but had 2 questions. 1st.) I'm planning on doing a t56 and lq4 swap by july this year. Is it worth me learning PROM burning since the LQ4 uses OBDII? Should I just save the money from all the software and cables and put it towards building a new engine (since the LO3 isn't the best in the first place). 2nd.) If I SHOULDtry PROM burning (so if I should just save my $ this q is null & void lol) what is the eeprom for a 1992 camaro LO3 TBI and where can I get a few of them? Thanks for your help guys!

Re: 2 Newbie questions

All prom burning articles I have read all say to start with OBD1, 1227747 is the easiest. Then move on from there. Everything you learn will transfer over and help you get started when you go to OBD2.

Read all the stickys here and the ECM forum and the TBI and TPI forum that are related to proms and tuning. It is incredible the knowledge that is shared and stickied here. It may not even make sense at the begining but the nmore you read the stickies the info from one will make a lightbulb go off in your head in another sticky.
