Re: WB factory flash

I have had mine for six years now an never had a problem with it . I'am starting a new tune an wanted things to go smoothly . The LM-1 still had the original battery an was dead so i put a new one an while re-adjusting the setting's for tunerpro i figured i should up date the firmware WRONG never should have done that now i got the black screen from corrupt firmware . I took the back cover off to take a look see . In my own opinion i can't seem them flashing the chips in their that are solder'd which is every one . I see a switch in their with jumpers so i figure the jumper must go in a certain position so it will connect via the serial cable an you can flash it with the firmware . Basically that is what you are doing when you update the fimware . Pretty hush hush over at innovate on this topic they want you to upgrade to the LM-2 . I made a post over their four days now an not a reply from them even their tech support no answer , makes me wonder if they even care about customer support .

Re: WB factory flash

Shoot me an email offline if you want, I think they have like a $75-we-fix-whatever-is-wrong deal or something like that. I can forward your info to the right folks if you want, I know a guy over there.

Sometimes they are slow to respond on emails. At times they respond quickly. Did you email them direct to support or post on forum? I would do both. When I called I spoke to Felipe and he was very helpfull. Klatin responds on Forum from Innovate.

Re: WB factory flash

Felipe just e-mailed me an wants my info so he can sit up an RMA . He never mentioned a price but if it is indeed a $75 charge it would be worth it to get in on the exchange if it still applies . When i replied back i asked if the exchange program is still offer'd . I did e-mail them direct an made a post next was the phone call . Craig i will see how things pan out TKS guy's
