I'm looking at getting into prom burning, where's the best place to buy prom burning, reading, and erasing equipment?

any specific recommendations?

Thanks-

Today's PROMs are flash based so no eraser required. Need to look at the specifics of which ECM you want to tune for. This is due to different adapters that may/are required.

Re: prom equipment

so I don't need an eraser for a chip like this

http://www.moates.net/c2-sst-27sf512....html?cPath=26

I'm going to start trying to tune my '7730

and one of these will do the edits to the chip

Re: prom equipment

No, the SST 27SF512 is an EEPROM (Electronically Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory). The BURN2 will both erase and program that EEPROM.
