prom not reading?

prom not reading?

i will first start off by saying yes i have been reading, reading, reading... lots of good info out there, my issue is after i get done burning a chip and install back into vehicle and turn the key on the cel just stays on, meaning like a stock chip the light flashes once and you good to go. now my burnt chip just stays on all the time and when you start it up it runs in limp home.. can some one please help

You do have chip in socket in prior orientation? Is it 180 deg off on the insertion?

There are also stacking requirements. may want to search that. I use flash based system so cant offer any further info.

Post more detained info as to what you did.

im using the moates apu1 and turner pro..

In $42, it would be the number of cylinders in a direct relationship value, as in, if he has a 4 cylinder engine, he would in put 4 cylinders, a 6 cylinder, 6, an 8 cylinder engine would have a value of 8 there.
